I have been involved with Kids’ Kloset since elementary school, beginning as a volunteer and growing alongside the organization over the years. This long-standing connection has shaped my passion for supporting children and families in our community, and I am honored to now serve as the Board President. I am also a teacher at Lake Stevens Middle School, where I see firsthand the impact that care, resources, and support can have on students. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and learning from new experiences.
I am so proud to be associated with Arlington's Kid's Kloset for the past 20 years and have been on the board of AKK since 2006. It has grown from a wish and a prayer to an important part of three school districts providing clothing to children free of charge. Our board is a dedicated group of individuals all doing their part to support our community's children. Some of my responsibilities included the branding, design, newsletters and Facebook for AKK. Being a business owner of Penway Media in Arlington for twenty five years and continuing after retirement helping the nonprofit AKK evolve and grow into an organization that supports the basic necessities every child deserves.
My name is Tori Emerson and I'm pleased to be serving as Arlington Kids' Kloset Secretary. I am a substitute teacher and have a child in the Arlington School District which has opened the opportunities of helping out on the Citizens' Committee and providing support and training for local PTAs in the northwest area of Washington State as the current Washington State PTA Area E Vice President. I am excited to be a part of Kids' Kloset!
As former teacher at Arlington High School, I am committed to improving the self-esteem of students by investing in Kids' Kloset, which provides trendy, quality clothing to students in need. Everyone should feel good about what they are wearing to school and if just one person's self-esteem is improved by 'shopping' at Kids' Kloset, we are making a difference in our community. I love the kids and want to make Kids' Kloset a friendly, inviting and fun place for students who need our services.
I have been on the Kids Kloset Board for 2 years. It's a pleasure to support the community with this dedicated resource for families. I have worked for Arlington School District in various positions over the last 14 years. Enjoy biking, reading, and gardening but most of all raising my two children.
I’ve always enjoyed being on boards. I like to see behind the scenes of a company…where the money goes, what the “heart” of a company looks like, is there community? I am excited to see how Kids’ Kloset is changing Arlington and surrounding areas by giving to those in need. I’m married, have two grown kids, and love Jesus. That about sums it up!
My name is Marlynn Kreucher. I have been a volunteer at Kid's Kloset for about five years. I represent the volunteers of Kid's Kloset on the board. I'm a retired teacher having taught in Washington and California for a combined thirty four years. It is a pleasure to help get these beautiful clothes out to students so they can feel good about themselves as they go to school.
