Meet Our Board

President - Julie Morse

HM Associates

Julie serves as Board President for Arlington Kids' Kloset.  She is also Kids' Kloset's Fundraising and Event planner.  She has served on the board since 2007.  Julie was taught at an early age that giving and serving others is an important part of life.  She applies that principal in serving the children and families of the Arlington community. Julie has gained tremendous experience doing the things she enjoys most - fundraising and large event planning.  To relax, Julie enjoys live theatre, college football, the Mariners and gardening.

Vice - President - Penny Peeters

Penway Media

I am so proud to be associated with Arlington's Kid's Kloset for the past 16 years and have been on the board of AKK since 2006. It has grown from a wish and a prayer to an important part of three school districts providing clothing to children free of charge. Our board is a dedicated group of individuals all doing their part to support our community's children. Some of my responsibilities included the branding, design, newsletters and Facebook for AKK. Being a business owner of Penway Media in Arlington for twenty five years and continuing after retirement helping the nonprofit AKK evolve and grow into an organization that supports the basic necessities every child deserves.

Treasurer - Kimberly Meno

Co-Founder of Kids' Kloset

As former teacher at Arlington High School, I am committed to improving the self-esteem of students by investing in Kids' Kloset, which provides trendy, quality clothing to students in need.  Everyone should feel good about what they are wearing to school and if just one person's self-esteem is improved by 'shopping' at Kids' Kloset, we are making a difference in our community.  I love the kids and want to make Kids' Kloset a friendly, inviting and fun place for students who need our services.

Member-at-Large - Laura Meno

Student Representative, Arlington High School

My mom helped start Kids' Kloset when I was two years old.  Ever since I was old enough to count out pairs of underwear into bags and rubber band socks together, I have been volunteering at Kids' Kloset.  I have organized volunteer groups for NHS, shopped for clothing, scheduled appointments, sorted laundry, served families and many other tasks. I have served on the Arlington Kids' Kloset BOD for two years.
